These Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use (hereinafter "T&C") govern access to and use of the SafeInventa platform, published by SafeInventa SAS, hereinafter referred to as "the Publisher". Creating an account implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms.
SafeInventa is a secure home inventory management application that allows users to document, encrypt, and export a register of their personal property for insurance purposes. The service includes AI-powered object detection, end-to-end encryption (AES-256-GCM), PDF claim dossier generation, as well as sorting, searching, and room-based organization features.
SafeInventa offers two plans:
Registration requires only a valid email address. No name, physical address, or phone number is required. The user must choose a strong password (minimum 12 characters, uppercase, lowercase, digit, special character). Two-factor authentication (2FA) via email is mandatory at every login. A unique recovery key is generated during registration to enable account recovery.
All inventory data (names, values, notes, photos, invoices) is encrypted on the user's device before transmission to the server (Zero-Knowledge architecture). The Publisher holds no key capable of decrypting stored data. Encryption uses AES-256-GCM with PBKDF2 derivation at 600,000 iterations (OWASP 2024 standard). EXIF metadata (GPS coordinates) is automatically stripped from uploaded photos.
In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the user has 14 days from the Premium Plan subscription date to exercise the right of withdrawal, without reason and without penalty. Refund is processed within 14 days. The user may cancel their Premium subscription at any time from the "Subscription" page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The Free Plan remains available indefinitely.
The Publisher provides the service "as is" and does not guarantee that AI-generated value estimates correspond to the actual market value of items. The user remains solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information entered. SafeInventa does not replace an insurance expert. In the event of loss of both the recovery key and password, encrypted data will be permanently inaccessible. The Publisher will under no circumstances be able to perform a recovery.
All elements comprising the SafeInventa platform (source code, design, logos, texts, AI algorithms) are the exclusive property of the Publisher and are protected by intellectual property law. The user retains all rights to the content they upload (photos, invoices, descriptions).
Data is hosted on servers located within the European Union, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The user may exercise their rights of access, rectification, portability, and deletion of their data at any time from the "Security" page of their personal space, or by email at contact@safeinventa.com. Account deletion results in the irreversible destruction of all associated encrypted data.
These T&C are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution prior to any legal action. Failing that, the competent courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
