SafeInventa User Guide

Everything you need to know to protect your estate and get the best insurance reimbursement in case of a claim.

Getting Started

SafeInventa lets you list, protect and document all your valuables to streamline your insurance claims in case of a disaster.

In 3 steps:

  1. Create an account — no personal information required
  2. Add items manually or via the AI Scan
  3. Attach proof: photos and purchase invoices

The more complete your inventory (photos + invoices), the higher your protection score.

💡 The right habit: Document every new purchase immediately while you still have the invoice.

Inventory & Items

Adding an item

From My Inventory, click “Add”. Enter at least a name and value. You can also specify brand, model, serial number, room and warranty.

Search, sort & filter

The search bar filters in real time. Sort by name, value or date. Filter by category, room or missing documents.

Duplicate an item

On an item page, click “Duplicate” to create an identical copy. Handy for similar items (chairs, shelves…).

Protection score

Every item with a photo and invoice counts toward 100%. The overall score estimates your documentation coverage.

AI Photo Scan

Take a photo of a room or group of items. The artificial intelligence automatically identifies objects and estimates their value.

How does it work?

  1. Click “AI Scan” in your inventory
  2. Select or take a photo
  3. The AI analyses and suggests detected items
  4. Check the items to add and confirm

Coût : Cost: About €0.0004 per photo analysis.

Exports & Claim Report

CSV Export

Download an Excel/CSV file with all your items: Name, Category, Room, Brand, Model, Value, Condition, Qty, Purchase date, Warranty, Serial no., Notes.

PDF Claim Report PREMIUM

From Exports & Claims, declare a claim, select affected items and generate an official PDF report to send your insurer, with 2FA verification.

✅ The report includes the item list, photos, serial numbers and a cryptographic fingerprint proving the inventory has not been altered after the claim.

Warranties & Reminders

Enter the purchase date and warranty duration (months). SafeInventa automatically calculates:

✔ Under warranty Warranty still valid (more than 3 months remaining)
⚠ Expiring soon Less than 3 months remaining
✗ Expired Warranty expired

Email reminders are automatic: monthly for Premium accounts, every 6 months for Free accounts.

Insurance sharing PREMIUM

Share a read-only snapshot of your inventory with your insurer or co-insured.

  1. Click “Share” in your inventory
  2. Choose a name and duration (7 to 90 days)
  3. A unique link is generated
  4. Send the link by email or SMS

🔒 The link provides access to a frozen snapshot. Subsequent changes are not visible. The link expires automatically.

Security & Encryption

SafeInventa uses end-to-end encryption (E2E) Zero-Knowledge:

  • Your data is encrypted with your password before being stored
  • Even administrators cannot read your data
  • Every file (photo, invoice) is individually encrypted
  • Email 2FA protects your sensitive actions

Important

If you lose your password, your data is unrecoverable without your recovery key. Save it somewhere safe at signup.
